Questival, what exactly is it? 🧐

A science festival is, unsurprisingly, a festival where all activities revolve entirely around science. At Questival, everything is about inclusivity. We aim to make science accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experience. Think of a day full of experimenting, discovering, and learning about science in an inspiring environment. Whether you’re young or old, a beginner or a true science enthusiast, there’s something for everyone at Questival! Get inspired by real scientists and meet colleges, universities, and companies at the various stands. Discover how you too can become a real scientist!

What can you expect?

• Interactive workshops: Dive into the wonderful world of science and technology with engaging workshops where you build a real telescope 🔭 or examine fossils 🦖.

• Escape rooms: Are you a real brainiac who loves solving puzzles & riddles? Then our escape rooms are definitely for you! In an escape room, you form a group. We lock you in a room, and by working together, you have to find your way out. 🔑 The key to unlocking the door? Correct answers to all the scientific challenges or puzzles we present to you. Getting excited already? Make sure to mark May 9th in your calendar!

• Inspiring activities: Be amazed by creative challenges, fascinating demonstrations, and hands-on science. Explore Ekoli’s experiment village, Ekoli’s physics playground, and help build the Rube Goldberg machine.

All this and so much more awaits you on Saturday, May 9th in the Rabot district.

👉 The next edition of Questival will take place on Saturday, May 9th 2026. Location: Odisee Campus & KU Leuven, Gebroeders Desmetstraat 1, 9000 Ghent.

👉 All activities are free, with no prior registration required.

👉 Every participant receives an inspiring goodie bag upon completing a full stamp card.

👉 Catering will be available at Questival.
